Boston in my mind is the best city to live in. It was ranked as the #1 place for education, the best schools in the world are here (Harvard, MIT, Northeastern, Bentley, Wentworth, UMass, and the list is goes on…), also ranked #2 best cities to meet a man…Its also ranked high as one of the best places to raise a family.

These all sound like great places, but my vote is for Nashville, TN. Pro sports teams (NFL & Ice Hockey). Very stable & diverse job market (Government, Manufacturing, Medical, Music and Education). Several colleges & universities. No harsh winters. Live music EVERY night of the week (not just Country, I prefer R&B, Blues and Jazz). Home to an endless number of singers & entertainers. People are very friendly and the cost of living is great (No State or Local Taxes, you can buy a 3000 sq ft house for under $200k). I frequent other cities in the area as well, within about a 3 hour drive I can hit Atlanta, Memphis, Chattanooga, Birmingham, Huntsville, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Louisville, Lexington and St. Louis. And since Nashville is centrally located, with a 30 minutes flight I can be in Chicago or New Orleans.

Not surprised to see Denver on the list. I love that city and intend to move there. It’s beautiful, fun, and friendly. I could go on and on.

I relocated to denver last year expecting it to be permanent… so cold and soooo dry i bailed in less than 6 months! plus a sort of boring scene

I think you have to go a bit further to find best city for singles…

I am living in Buenos Aires and it is truly remarkable. Young, fun and buzzing. I am also studying at a great Spanish language school and staying in a superb neighborhood in Palermo.

Well I can say I live in the smallest little nothing state in the US….Rhode Island…not all that great for singles..but would love to know where some fun places to vacation may be for a single woman!!

Where can i stay if i relocate to denver,i do not have any money to rent at first,i would have to get a job and then save for an apartment. Is there anywhere i can stay for free until i find employment?

I live in Denver and can certainly say it’s a great place for singles.
