Cash Jobs

Some employment is temporary or does not result in an actual paycheck. These jobs are traditionally cash only and may not include benefits such as healthcare or 401 (k) options.

If you are interested in earning some quick cash to get you through a rough time or you want to earn some money while you go to school full-time, these employment options may be for you. Some of these cash jobs may not involve regularly scheduled work times and some are often popular with younger workers, such as teenagers during the summer time.

Some of the best ways to get cash jobs are through word of mouth or advertising your services in public areas such as grocery stores or recreation centers. Experience is often a factor in securing the best cash jobs and excellent references may be a requirement. When you find a cash job, make sure you do your best, arrive on time and remain polite at all times. Ask your supervisor or employer for a reference to obtain other cash jobs.

Current Child Care Employment Opportunities

You can build an impressive resume if you work hard at cash jobs, and they lead to more permanent employment.

  • Child Care Cash Jobs
The best way to get your foot in the babysitting business is to care for children you know. You can then use these references when you branch out find new clients. Many parents feel uncomfortable with the idea of leaving infants or babies with inexperienced baby sitters, so you should not expect to care for little ones when you get your first job. Start with children ranging in age from 6 to 10, and, as you gain experience, you can care for younger children or children with special needs. People with baby sitting experience can also advance to nanny jobs or au pair positions. Most jobs pay cash immediately, though long term or regular positions may develop scheduled payments based on the situation.
  • Lawn or Garden Care Cash Jobs
Many people either do not have time or the ability to care for their lawns. A popular cash job is to mow lawns, trim trees, cart debris away or rake leaves. If you live in a snowy area during the winter, you can also earn cash by taking snow shoveling jobs. The best way to find these positions is to post an ad for your services at the local senior center or recreation area. You can also post your name and phone number on public bulletin board space at churches, public transportation centers or grocery stores. As you gain experience in lawn care, you may be able to find a position as a gardener or landscaper.
  • House- or Pet-Sitting Cash Jobs
Many people need occasional help with their pets or home while they travel for business or go on vacation. Holiday seasons and the summer months are booming times for this cash business. One of the best ways to find clients is to ask for referrals from clients you already have. If you baby sit or do yard work already, mention that you would be happy to house sit or care for animals when clients go out of town overnight. Also, pet walking is a popular cash job in some areas. Some people hire dog walkers to let their animals outside during the day while the owners work. Post your information at places like veterinary clinics, animal shelters or pet supply stores to find new clients.
  • Cleaning Cash Jobs
Some people do not have the time or energy to clean their own home. You can turn this need into a lucrative cash job. Again, post advertisements with your information at community centers to find clients. Some people who clean to earn cash charge by the hour, while others charge by the square footage of a home or number of rooms.
  • Companion Cash Jobs
As the population ages, more and more older people are living with their adult children. Others are living alone but need assistance. With the proper preparation, you can turn this into a cash job. Many people are looking for companions to their elderly parents. People who live with and care for their elderly parents or family members may need to hire a companion when they leave to shop or go to work. Other people may hire a companion to help elderly relatives with house hold tasks like opening a jar or medicine bottle. This cash job may involve light cleaning and cooking as you help elderly people with their individual needs.

You need to understand that when you’re on any kind
of disability, you may be being watched by undercover operatives to see if you’re able to do jobs you said you couldn’t do.

If you get caught, you could go to jail for fraud and/or lose your compensation or both.

I’m currently on unemployment now and understand your need for cash but is it work a 3rd Degree Felony on your record?

    Best of luck!

    Harold

I think it is sad that we live in the type of country that you can’t have a decent job and have medical care and necessary medications to sustain ones life. Other countries provide excellent medical care and opprotunities so people can have food, a roof over ones head and medical at the same time. It is a great country to live in if you have excellent health. If you get sick in this country you are considered a deadbeat. So sad!

I am a 34 yr.old that has made a life change for the better of my family and can’t seem to catch a break. I pray constantly for Gods will and strength to carry me to better times to be a great provider for my 3 beautiful children. I have been very diligent in looking for work. I am very able and very skilled with excellent people skills. I just continue to do the next right things to better myself and my childrens future. I have a good background in construction and heavy construction as a: finish operator(heavy equipment),grade foreman, carpentry, glass, concrete, and much more. I never thought I would build bridges and super highways then turn around and not see any doors open up to such a hard driven worker like myself. My heart goes out to everybody who faces this dillema but yet possesses the willingness to do good things. Don’t ever give up!!

I saw everyones post about disability and working under the table etc. Our government forces us to cheat them. They steal money from you the day you begin working and continue througout or working life – we accept it since SS told us when we retire or become disabled we can have it. My husband was in his late 40’s. It took us 2 years to fight SS to receive benifits. They said he was not sick enough — he passed 18 months later – they really mean he is not close enough to death. Then on top of that the medical insurance he received from SS we had to pay over $100 additional per month for. When 3 different specialist said he needed a certain treatment — Our government would only pay a percent and they needed our $48,000 up front. Do the math the were only giving him the max which is less then $2000 per month. And the medical did not pay for any meds – those cost us over $400 per month. Needless to say if he would of been able to get out of bed he would of worked so we could eat. Constantly robbing peter to pay paul — His last 20 mins of life cost (my share) over $548,000. I have a Degree in accounting and cannot even find a janitors job because I have terrible credit and because my husband and I were evicted from 2 places. Some months I paid the rent and some months we got his medicine. I have been homeless since his death and having to mooch of family. Not because I am not willing. But i did learn the other day if I commit a felony I will have food – medical care and a place to live then when my “time” is up – I have a PO that will get me a job no matter what. i love this country but this is total BS. You talk about pulling a scam — SS is selling you a bridge that dosn’t even exisist. But they are the government. When I was on a rant – much worse then now – i actually had on of our Congressmen implay it didn’t matter to him — he dosn’t have to rely on SS to live or like my Husband to die. 80% of people with his illness get treatment and live. To top it all off – every single month they tried in one way or another to stop his payments and when he did have to discuss something with them – he was made to feel like he was asking for a handout after he worked for 20 plus years. Sorry to rant just couldn’t let it go.

I hope all of you on here that can’t find jobs get out and vote on Election day. The republican party has NEVER helped the working class. Please vote based on common sense and not emotion. My mom voted for Bush last two terms because he is “Christian” just like her. Look at where the courtry is now. Please vote for a politician that will have the intelligence to run the country and dig us out of this hole.

I hope u all find a job soon, good luck. God is watching and knows all and just keep praying because only God can help u. Always be postivie about things forget the negativity. Just keep praying and never give up. I know it’s hard but that’s life. When u was a baby growing up u thought life was hard and couldn’t wait till u got older but the older u get the harder life gets. Complaining about it to anyone for sure won’t get u anywhere, or has it?

For those who faced problems and/or are facing problems, I feel u. I know what you’re going through, but u also have to learn to let go and to forgive in order for u to move on and being better than the one who made u angry, mad, upset, is always a good thing.

Soemone mentioned SS, it’s ok let it go God is watching and knows what happened. You’re husband is now in a better place (HEAVEN) his time was meant to come and all the money u spent, trust me u will get back all and more in time u just be patient and trust the LORD from above.

Someone mentioned peoples skills and alot of skills he has well join the club :) . I have Bachelor’s Degree in English, Associates Degree in Humanities/Liberal Arts, Certificate in (MBS) microcomputer business systems, Certificate in Nutritionist, Certificate in C.A.D.C. Certified Alcohol & Drugs Counsel.

I’m 32 also a single parent. I lost both my jobs because it’s slow. I have been looking for a job and can’t find anything but with all my degrees and majors that I have included skills and talents speaking several languages fluently I decided to go into my own business. I don’t have a place but I do have a cell phone and right now it’s all that I need and it’s plenty to help me with my business.

If u have degrees and special skills and talents and can’t get a job then just go out into your own business. Make business cards, send out resumes, post flyers everywhere and not just in your area, put an ad in the paper, make a website, if u have children they can help, don’t count on anyone to be there for u at all times now. People give u their support and advice on how to go about things but in reality you’re really on your own.

For those who are really disabled and cannot work, don’t try to work. You will get the help u need from government. The government is not that crucial now. The governemnt gives u a shelter to go to if u are homeless, I know it’s not much but u still have a roof over your head. The governemnt gives people with children under the age of 18 food stamps and cash assistance those who are not working and need money to put food in your kids mouth and to clothes them. The government gives u medicaid when u dont have insurance. When u get laid off from work u do receive unemployment don’t u and now the unemployment is extended to additional 3 more months.

Soemone said the only way is to cheat the government , well if u want to then by all means go ahead and do so but let me tell you when u get caught don’t say i didn’t warn u so!! U do the crime u pay the time. God is watching if someone steals from u, u don’t like that right ? so don’t steal from anyone either. Do on to others as u want others to do on to u.

I am 24 years of age and I am very responsible I have a 3 year old daughter and i am also on disability as well. I want to work because my disability is not enough to takre care of my daughter the father is around but he just there for show i guess and we are married but even with my condition I still work my ass off at what ever I can and in the process hope i don’t have an attack. I can’t work cause my doctor says i AM not stable enough yet but my money is not stable enough to take care of my baby. I can do a sit down job I have plenty of experience. I am very detailed organized and also pocess excellent customer service and phone skills as well. So if any one knows a company or any thing 2 days a week is even fine, in the end no matter what I know the lord will bless me and you too that are looking as well but you must do your foot work to. Our God will never just hand it to you, you have to make the effort first. Good Luck to all
