I have lost I don't know how many jobs to "girls" who didn't need a resume because they had the "look" ... they were young, hot and easily replacable when they got bored and stopped coming into work one day ... It at one time, was a great place to be. Even with my college education, I still worked catering jobs and on bridges for low wages. The most I ever made in florida was 600.00 weekly.The lowest was working nights on the bridges.Shared living used to be the way of the Gulf and or they had cheaper, older homes for rent. At one time property was cheaper than anywhere.This is so sad. I heard on the news that 58,000 people have moved out of florida since 2008. Single Mothers and Fathers,living in Florida would have had a hard time before all this. I miss Florida but it is not just Florida. I'm thinking of moving out of the United States of America, then making my money then moving back here to retire. I"ll of course be keeping my money out of the Country. Education is a business and schools make $ off us but we are not guarantee to find employment leading to success. In addition, Florida is not education friendly.
