ACCOUNT COORDINATOR
Job Summary for Account Coordinator
Supports Account Managers’ interface with client and agency teams to facilitate effective use of agency resources and timely delivery to clients that meets or exceeds specifications.
Responsibilities of Account Coordinator
- Documents and updates, and posts and otherwise communicates project milestone dates and final deadlines to support efficient use of agency resources and timely delivery to clients.
- Monitors the progress of each project, and promptly advises Account Managers and Discipline Leaders of variances from agreed‐upon schedules.
- At the direction of Account Managers communicates with clients as appropriate to support timely capture of input and approvals, and the scheduling and participation in meetings with the Agency as required.
- At the direction of Account Managers and/or Discipline Leaders convenes internal meetings as to coordinate cross functional efforts as appropriate to faithfully execute Scopes of Work.
- Proofs deliverables copy for spelling/grammar/type errors and registered marks for compliance with brand identity standards.
- Supports migration of content to agency‐created/managed web sites.
- Supports timely delivery of materials to/from vendors and clients.
- Conducts online research as required to support execution of work‐in‐progress and new business solicitation, including but not limited to competitive analysis and trademarks/copyrights.
- Conducts field research including, but not limited to, site surveys and competitive analyses.
- Supports the delivery of training and support to clients for agency‐created, client‐managed web assets.
Job Requirements
ACCOUNT COORDINATOR
Requirments for Account Coordinator
- Bachelors degree or equivalent business experience
- 18 months or more years’ ad agency experience in roles that actively support scheduling, monitoring, and coordinating workflow to effect service/product delivery.
- Specific experience in two or more of the following:
- Online social media
- Mobile marketing
- Print production
- Offline media planning & placement
- Online content management
- Research and/or analytics
- Aptitude for problem solving and out‐of‐the‐box thinking.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities
- Demanding attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Entrepreneurial in spirit and passionate about the business.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications; experience in a work environment where Mac is also applied is a plus.
- Proven experience and effectiveness as a team player on cross�B!>functional teams in a highly collaborative environment.
