Accountant
Position Summary
We are currently seeking a professional Accountant to join our team in our Seattle office.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in the areas of accounting, finance, reconciliation, internal controls, or auditing of high volume transaction operations which involve customer service centers including product order fulfillment. The primary challenge will be to assist public clients in the implementation of accounting and financial components for new customer service centers in electronic toll collection.
Responsibilities:
Daily oversight of tolling customer service center vendor’s implementation of accounting and finance components
Working with clients to develop accounting and financial requirements
Provide input into computer systems to support accounting and financial requirements
Provide input and review of vendor’s accounting and financial standard operating procedures
Provide input and review of vendor’s reconciliation procedures
Provide input and review of vendor’s internal controls and audit procedures
Monitor vendor’s compliance with contract requirements
Participate in testing of computer system and procedures
Review and comment of vendor submittals.
Monitor initial operations and systems to ensure compliance with requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master’s preferred)
Certified Public Accountant (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years direct experience with tolling program accounting
Ability to represent clients and their best interests
Excellent communication skills (English)
