Job Description

Caledonia Financial services (CFS) A member of the Hospital Physician Partners Family; continued growth has created immediate openings for our fast paced physician billing company.  CFS seeks highly motivated experienced candidates with the skills for medical billing collections.

The candidate must be organized and have a solid knowledge of the health care industry, good verbal and written communication skills, as well as computer proficiency, with attention to detail. Knowledge of Physician/ Medical Billing in multiple states is a plus. This is a full time position with excellent benefits.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

·        At least 2 years of medical billing experience - Part B

Hospital and/or Physicians AR follow up and collections

·        A good understanding of rejections and electronic claims productions

·        Knowledgeable in  EOB & Remark Codes, Secondary Insurance

·        Ability to solve problems and work well with others

·        CPT and ICD-9 coding as it relates to collections

Job Responsibility

·        Follow up with Medicare Part B, Medicaid and third-party billing.

·        Working correspondence / mail received from carriers and posting denials and    submitting appeals.  

·        Working knowledge of collection policies, rules & regulations

·        Must be flexible, independent, and able to multi task to meet deadlines.

·        Able to work in a fast pace pleasant environment.

Salary range based on experience.
