Adjunct Medical Assistant Instructors Needed

As an instructor, you will play an integral part in providing students with the knowledge, skills, and work habits required for entry-level positions in the medical field.

What you will do: Provide students with a complete syllabus containing course objectives. Present enthusiastic, well prepared, organized, and clear lectures and classroom activities consistent with the course syllabus. Exercise firm, fair and consistent class control. Begin and end class/lab on time and facilitate the effective use of class time. Maintain consistent performance when dealing with all students with respect to grading, documentation, policies, and discipline Provide students with timely information and feedback on their academic progress relative to quizzes, tests, homework and projects. Assist students in their quest for a career. Regularly participate in professional growth activities and provide documentation of these activities.
Job Requirements
Skills and experience you need: Associate Degree in Medical Assisting or a comparable degree in an Allied Health related field. Certification as a CMA or NRCMA preferred 5 years front office / back office practical experience in a medical setting Prior teaching experience preferred, but not required. Must be organized, & detail oriented Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills Must possess the ability to interact effectively and professionally with students, parents, staff and faculty
