Job Description
A part-time (Day and Evening) teaching position in the Social Science and Human Services Department. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Adjunct instructors needed to teach Substance Abuse Counseling.
- One year of teaching experience is a plus.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Substance Abuse Counseling or Master’s degree in any other discipline plus 18 graduate hours in Substance Abuse Counseling.
- Coursework not specified on transcripts as Substance Abuse Counseling requires accompanying course descriptions from the graduate catalog or letters from the division with the descriptions of the course.
- Demonstrated skills in successfully working with diverse populations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with standardized testing and use of computers in instruction is a plus.
- Official transcripts will be required.
- A criminal background check will be conducted.
