We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Import Export team activities in Richardson, Texas.  This is a contract position with the possibility of developing into a regular full-time position.
 
Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain daily inbound log including confirmation of deliveries
  • Follow through on liquidation notices from customs and border protection
  • Act as liaison between purchasing and freight companies for expedited shipments
  • Review customs entry
  • Provide C-TPAT support
  • Provide back- up support for HTS (harmonized tariff schedule) classification
  • Provide back- up support for export team


Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-4 years administrative support experience, preferably in import/export customs compliance or other area within a legal department
  • Solid PC skills to include MS Office
  • Advanced Excel skills to include creation  of pivot tables, macros & v-look ups
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal
