Advertising Sales Account Executive â€" amNew York
The Advertising Sales Account Executive â€" amNew York will be responsible for handling new business and existing Local Retail Advertising accounts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: building new relationships through lead generation, cold calling, Internet research & canvassing territories to secure new advertising accounts. Research new leads using Internet, print and various leads generation tools. Coordinate inquiries, media kits, marketing data and presentations, sales material requests, rate questions, etc for direct clients and third party agencies. Will prepare client proposals/presentations for sales meetings, monthly revenue forecasts based on clients advertising needs and year end re-caps for Advertising Sales Managers. Build a book of business through implementation of inside and outside sales tactics and partner with clients to come up with effective and creative ways to spend their advertising dollars to maximize to their exposure to amNew York’s readers.

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have one to two years experience in advertising sales with strong communication, follow through and relationship building skills. Excellent negotiation and customer service skills a must to close new business and retain existing account basis. Strong knowledge of NY newspaper market with the ability to track competitive newspapers and media outlets required.
