ADVERTISING SALES EXECUTIVE (ONLINE & PRINT)
Seattle Weekly, Seattle’s most widely circulated and original alternative newsweekly, is seeking a professional and energetic sales candidate to sell our multi-platform ad solutions including online and display advertising, e-newsletters, signature event sponsorships and annual glossy publications to an eclectic and exciting group of clients through relationship building and on-going account management.
You must have sales experience, preferably in media sales, and exhibit passion and knowledge of the Seattle community and industry as a whole. Applicants should be hardworking self-starters, competitive, outgoing and goal oriented. This position requires an individual who is an organized and fearless cold-caller, capable of high call volumes and numerous face to face appointments on a daily basis (vehicle required).
Job Requirements
This sales position emphasizes prospecting new business, cold-calling, and building a consistent clientele. To be considered, one must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, comfortable asking for a sale and payment and be driven towards success.
