The country's first residential eating disorder treatment facility, The Renfrew Center is a women's mental health center with ten locations and a nationwide professional resource network. The Renfrew Center specializes in the treatment of eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder) and related mental health issues.
The Renfrew Center has treated over 45,000 women since opening our doors in 1985. From the beginning, we address both underlying issues and behavioral change, and our treatment programs include traditional psychotherapy, psychiatry, and nutritional counseling as well as art therapy, dance/movement therapy and psychodrama. Our comprehensive approach to mental health issues is backed by experienced senior staff members specializing in the psychology of women.
At The Renfrew Center - a JCAHO accredited organization - we recognize the complexity of the biological, social, and cultural contexts within every woman's life, and our treatment programs encourage women to actively participate in their own growth and recovery. Treatment is designed to be collaborative rather than imposed, and our innovative programs emphasize the value and healing potential of healthy interpersonal relationships.
We currently have a 20-40hr per week vacancy for an AfterCare Coordinator to work at our Residential Treatment Facility in Coconut Creek, FL.
Responsibilities: Weekly counseling sessions with patients; setting up aftercare treatment for each patient; facilitating weekly groups; coordinating with Renfrew's other sites where we refer new patients and developing and maintaining relationships with providers.

Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Human Services related field plus three years experience. Experience working with patients with eating disorders is preferred. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skill and must be detail oriented and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Interest and sense of commitment to womens health issues is also a must.
