The Military Derivatives Completion Center (MDCC), also known as Sikorsky HAWK WORKS @ Schweizer Aircraft, serves as the primary completion center for all BLACK HAWK and Naval Hawk derivative aircraft.
The successful candidate will supervise assembly of BLACKHAWK aircraft at the Military Derivative Completion Center (MDCC). Other duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for cost, schedule (short and long term), and quality performance in support of business unit goals and objectives
Knowledge and demonstrated experience with ACE and LEAN processes a plus.
Other duties include: * Supervise personnel and operation; * Maintain knowledge of all processes, materials and equipment used; * Train, evaluate and provide feed back to employees on their work; * Encourage employee involvement and recognize employee suggestions and ideas to improve quality, efficiency and safety; * Organize work to meet customer requirements and encourage smooth flow of work; * Review and approve time sheets. Provide documentation as required by the Human Resources, Timekeeping and management departments; * Experience supervising in a union environment preferred;
