Job Description
Generally responsible for the maintenance of all aspects of finance and accounting processes. Reports to the Controller of the organization with respect to financial reporting, planning, practices, capital analysis and cash management. Periodically reviews and analyzes all vendor contracts and recommends cost saving initiatives. Ensures the completion of timely financial reporting. Work at this level requires progressive experience in finance and accounting. This work will be performed under minimal supervision.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Financial statement preparation and reporting.
· Maintaining finance and accounting processes.
· Coordination to update and maintain forecasts and budgets.
· Maintaining processes for asset acquisition, disposal and protection.
· Maintaining cost/benefit analysis for various projects.
· Maintaining records for all client and vendor contracts.
Job Requirements
· Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from an accredited
University is required.
. 5 to 10 years of relevant Finance and Accounting experience is required.
. Thorough knowledge of all accounting principles and standards.
· Knowledge and application of business standards.
· Knowledge and appliation of office administration procedures.
· Extreme attention to detail.
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment with extreme multi-tasking.
· Ability to analyze data, make judgments and develop reports.
· Ability to maintain effective working relationships with teammates and vendors.
· Ability to be discreet in dealing with sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality in all
areas.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to listen and ascertain the needs of management.
· Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat. Deltek Vision
preferred.
· Excellent leadership skills.
· Ability to sit for long periods of time and ability to hold or lift up to 15 lbs. unassisted.
