Position Overview:
The Assistant Manager, Product Development & Production supports the seasonal development of product in alignment with the departmental sourcing strategy. Assists in implementing the design vision and product integrity standards while adhering to the Product Lifecycle Calendar. Demonstrates the company's Values & Practices by maintaining effective collaborative relationships, taking pride in the company and brand, and embracing diversity.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Requests and tracks development testing and samples. Orders raw materials and trims for sample development. Creates and updates seasonal re-cap charts. Communicates status of color, research and development. Maintains departmental files within the sourcing systems. Maintains historical and seasonal information on different accessories. Builds collaborative relationships with the cross functional team members. Handles other responsibilities and projects, as assigned.
Position Requirements: Bachelors degree, in a related field of study, or equivalent functional experience Detail oriented, with strong organizational capabilities Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills Flexible/adaptable in a fast paced environment Team oriented Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
