Job Description

Canon U.S.A., Inc.’s ISG division is conducting a search for an Associate Sales Administration Specialist to help plan and implement projects that support the sales organization.  This person will support all of ISG to compile the budget and closing accounts for the cost centers of the division.  This person follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Contact the cost centers as necessary to request information to analyze the results and expenses of the cost center
• Supervise the system setup as necessary
• Support the ISG users of the Hyperion Financial Management System
• Fix system errors and L&T system errors as necessary
• Control of the invoice process and business planning
• Report on the daily sales and daily sales forecasts
• Control the budgeting process while working in Excel, Hyperion, Oracle and System 80
• Manage inventory, inventory charts and the ISG monthly financial report
• Control expenses for sales promotions â€" such as trade shows

This position requires 2 - 3 years experience within a sales or sales support business environment. A Bachelors degree in business administration or equivalent experience is preferred. The successful person in this role must have excellent analytical abilities and resourcefulness in identifying problems and their causes. Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory, as is the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels, both within and outside Canon. Excellent computer skills are required; including Word and PowerPoint, with particular emphasis on a strong knowledge of Excel.  Visual Basic experience is preferred. Basic knowledge of accounting or management accounting is strongly preferred.
