The Indianapolis Teaching Fellows program, is calling on outstanding individuals to become teachers in Indianapolis Public Schools and positively impact the academic achievement of its students. Indianapolis Teaching Fellows looks for a diverse group of successful professionals and recent college graduates who will use their knowledge, experience and records of achievement to improve the lives of students in Indianapolis. No previous experience or coursework in education is necessary to apply.
Indianapolis Teaching Fellows will begin teaching full-time in the fall of 2010 while pursuing an Indiana teaching license. Benefits of the program include an opportunity to join a group of like-minded professionals committed to improving public education in Indianapolis, a streamlined application and selection process and a six-week intensive summer training institute.

Job Requirements
Individuals interested in teaching math, science, special education, Spanish, elementary education, and English Language Arts are encouraged to apply. A bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 is required.
