Investigate, coordinate and communicate employee?s inquiries regarding daily benefits administration that include; Workplace injuries, OSHA compliance, Leaves of absence (STD, LTD, FMLA, Military, Personal, etc) Life Insurance, AD&D, 401(k), Medical, Dental, Vision, F.S.A., H.S.A, COBRA, Voluntary Benefits such as Savings Bonds, Tuition Assistance, Scholarship program, Employee Discount program, and related enrollment and billing.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate, when necessary, and respond to employee questions relating to benefit plans and/or programs, enrollments, claim processing, and benefit changes.
- Interface with vendors to gather the most up to date information and relay it to the employee or manager.
- Explain eligibility, coverage, and legal requirements as they pertain to each situation. Interface with legal, management and vendors to insure proper due diligence has been taken with each situation.
- Gather all data required for escalations, so that accurate information is shared and evaluated to determine the next action.
- Tracks actions taken on each ?leave? or ?life event change? for reporting purposes. Interfaces with payroll for pay changes.
- Generate reports for numerous groups within HR, upon request.
- Continuously evaluates processes to improve and find efficiences.
- Assist in preparation of employee benefit information and statements, including basic bill paying, maintaining benefit records, filing information as needed with respect to HIPAA privacy and confidentiality requirements.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements
Required: AA/ AS Degree with 1-2 years related business experience in Human Resources or health care field
Preferred: Bachelors Degree, Experience with Oracle HR
DESIRED WORK TRAITS & SKILLS; Ability to work independently, computer skills, communication skills, etc?
Basic working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA and IRC Section 125
Attention to detail
Excellent Organizational skills
Flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
