We are looking for talented professionals to join our team. We are seeking a Broker in our Marine Group. Specific Responsibilities: - Placement negotiation and transaction management
- Develops placement strategies in conjunction with client executives, client advisors, and/or clients.
- Submits coverage specifications and obtains quotes from carriers.
- Documents the binding of coverage and is responsible for the accuracy of binders.
- Maintains frequent interaction with practice offices, insurance markets, and regular contact with clients.
- Keeps client advisory services informed concerning market conditions including pricing trends, coverage grants, and other underwriting issues.
- Make presentations to clients and prospects.
- Carrier Management
- Develops strong working relationships with carriers and or/underwriters. Possesses strong knowledge of markets and carriers and their ability to write certain risks.
- New Product Development
- Develops new products in conjunction with client advisory and underwriters.
- Financial Management
- Maintains expense controls to help achieve financial goals.
- Professional Standards and Marsh Excellence
- Complies with Marsh professional standards to ensure quality service to clients.
Job Requirements
- Is appropriately licensed.
- Has a minimum of 5 years in the Marine business.
