Job Description
Completes work orders for corrective repair & maintenance work on a variety of building physical structures, equipment, and system components. Compiles material list for ordering the necessary materials in order to complete all necessary R&M. Finalize the work order by completing the necessary paperwork. Performing troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs on building systems and equipment. Performs daily inspections of facility and makes necessary repairs and improvements. Possess competent knowledge of use of tools and equipment used in facility and grounds maintenance. Performs repairs, modifications, and conducts preventative maintenance on building and facilities, equipment, fixtures, and systems such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. Performs work based on dispatched service or daily/weekly work schedules and assist with event set-ups. Performs small to medium in-house renovation projects. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and building codes. Knowledge of OSHA health & safety standards is necessary. May assist, oversees and inspects work performed by outside contractors. Utilizes a wide variety of hand and portable power tools. Other duties as assigned. Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Job Requirements
- Mechanical and Customer Service aptitude.
Good people skills, friendly, helpful attitude Maturity, punctuality and reliability. Professional appearance with strong people skills. The flexibility to work overtime as needed and on short notice. A valid TXDL, excellent driving record and reliable transportation. The ability to work with little to no direct supervision. Work schedule: 8 am to 5 pm. Days off; TBD Bilingual a plus but not required.
