Due to our consistent growth and prosperity, we are looking to fill a key Business & Planning Analyst I role within the Lending Services division of M&T Bank. RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for the day-to-day support and management of the Lending Services print vendor and other departmental duties. Reviewing and approving print jobs Initiating and testing new print jobs Assisting managers with budgeting and forecasting expenses associated with this vendor Responsible for tasks related to the mortgage year end process ensuring all applicable deadlines are met. Processes associated with this function include representing the mortgage product on bank wide year end meetings, ensuring appropriate coding of mortgage loans prior to year end, coordinating and reviewing samples of mortgage interest statements with the mortgage print vendor, corrections to system generated forms as required, and various state reporting Interact with other departments throughout Lending Services as well as Corporate Compliance and Legal in regard to print work Provide support to management team in accomplishing key deliverables, assist with acquisitions activities, generate and distribute various reports as required BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Previous Mortgage Servicing or Consumer Loan Servicing experience Minimum two (2) years work experience Excellent PC skills " including Microsoft Office applications Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field (i.e. Business, Finance, Statistics, Marketing, MIS) or 3-5 years experience in a relevant environment Excellent Customer Service, communication, problem solving, & analytical skills Detail oriented Ability to work independently and function as a member of a project team IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS: Three (3) or more years Mortgage Servicing or Consumer Loan Servicing experience Three (3) or more years experience on Fidelity LPS system or SHAW Passport training and exposure Project leadership skills and experience ideal Strong work ethic Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to effectively interact with all levels of personnel
