Business Environment HP Enterprise Services is becoming a leader in managing, operating, and provisioning always-on IT services and has set very ambitious growth objectives. To achieve these challenging goals, HP needs to develop managed services solutions that meet the client's outsourcing objectives. HP offers a comprehensive range of application services delivered thru Global delivery centers. HP Application Outsourcing solutions need to crafted and defended in the regions working closely with HP Account teams and HP business units to meet customer objectives around Application Outsourcing. Role Senior level position, responsible for the development of the solution strategy, overall design, and managing the development of technical costing/pricing of solution elements. Engage from initial meetings with the HP Account team / client for ADM Outsourcing opportunities Leverages knowledge in areas of Strategy, Technology, Process and People Leads all client interaction during 'Solutioning' as part of HP proposal Applies knowledge of current and emerging IT trends, and capital and operational expenses, to defining IT transformation strategy and roadmap Engage with client to define their IT Transformation Strategy & Roadmap to achieve operational efficiencies through effective leverage of the HP Consulting services offerings Responsibilities Provide support to Sales Team while pursuing deals in the area of AO Outsourcing and Transformation. Will carry targets for e.g. HC growth, Deal conversion ratio Participate in development and execution of winning sales strategies by working closely with Sales (by being part of the Pre-sales team) Assisting in deal qualification by leveraging knowledge of market, industry and technology trends Provide thought leadership and participation in client workshops in area of IT transformation Conduct application portfolio analysis, and design rationalization solutions to achieve operational efficiencies Position HP as a trusted advisor to client's decision-makers by establishing credibility and expertise in areas of IT Transformation and Value Engineering Creating and managing a high performance application solution Provide service management solutions including innovative pricing and service level management options Collaborating with other functions to ensure the scheduling and execution of the defined delivery reviews Ensuring that the applications solution meets internal and customer criteria in terms of cost, quality, and services provided Ensuring that solution components are accurately documented, consistent Providing the solution development team with regular updates on deal strategy and decisions from the Engagement team Supporting the sales pursuit leadership and the team during the negotiation phase Provide solution defense and interact with customers on proposed solution Provide support during Due Diligence process, validating the solution before/after contract signature Handing over the solution (including Transition and Transformation projects) to the Delivery transition team after contract signature
Job Requirements
Mandatory Skills Strong technical and business analysis background Experience in ITIL, CMMi, Six Sigma methodologies Experience in Consulting and interactions with C-level executives Expertise in articulating the Information Technology vision for the organization Experience in portfolio analysis, IT application/infrastructure rationalization Experience in leading the organizational/divisional IT function and outsourcing Expertise in conceptualizing and articulating IT Transformation Strategy and business case for achieving desired business objectives Knowledge of current and emerging technology trends in the areas of packaged (enterprise) and non packaged (bespoke) applications Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and its applicability in current business context Hands-on experience in IT Transformation Strategy, IT Governance, Outsourcing and large scale change management at organization/division level Should have managed large sized projects involving Application management services Experience in proposal development for large IT Transformation or Outsourcing initiatives Willingness and ability to travel Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, analytical and problem solving skills Desired Skills Experience in Consulting and Consultative Selling Relationship building at C-level Certification in Quality process and/or Project Management Public speaking Ability to integrate and work with multiple cultures Qualifications MBA or MS (preferably in Computer Science) Approx. 15 years experience in IT Hands-on experience in managing large transformation initiatives of at least $50M Demonstrated capability of achieving IT efficiencies by reducing IT spend using innovative strategies Expert in IT Transformation Strategy Primary Location : US-
