Job Description
Min Qualifications Associates degree or equivalent and 2 years of office related experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To manage, coordinate, and directly support the administrative, business management, and/or staff activities within a process/department.
Salary Range From $37,057.00 To $61,143.00 Annually
Specific Job Related Duties OPERATIONS: Perform necessary day-to-day operational activities to assure smooth and efficient workflow, compliance with regulations and guidelines and efficient electronic protocol submissions. Continually apprise manager of issues preventing efficient operations and assist the manager in improvement activities to increase efficiency, effectiveness and user satisfaction.
Work with IACUC manager and operations Manager, IS in testing and validation of the InfoEd electronic IACUC submission and management system.
Work with IACUC manager and operations manager, IS in the development, testing, validation and maintenance of e-forms used with the InfoEd electronic submission and management system.
Work with IACUC manager and operations manager, IS in the development and maintenance of the IACUC web page (s).
Interacts with customers toward effective problem resolution and assists with questions regarding policies, procedures, and operations Transcribes meeting communication, proofreads all completed meeting minutes and distributes meeting agendas Composes correspondence and memorandums in appropriate format to investigators regarding IACUC actions on new protocols, continuing and triennial reviews and amendments Assist in the development of IACUC administrative policies ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations Initiates improvement in work process/environment Analyzes and standardizes procedures for improved efficiencies Contributes ideas and suggestions for improvements to the process Compiles data for necessary reports and develops reports that are user friendly Schedules, coordinates, and organizes appointments, meetings and rooms Assist and or prepares investigator reminder notices Responsible for data base quality assurance and maintenance Assist and or assign protocol reviews by coordinating with IACUC members Provide assistance for other departmental functions and office duties as needed Adhere to internal controls established for the Department Follow-up on directives given by upper management Attend IACUC local and national meetings related to animal research and InfoEd user group meetings in order to improve job knowledge
Preferred Work Experience Three Years of Related Experience IACUC IRB Data base Animal Research
