Job Description
• Responsible for finding, developing, and winning new business opportunities within the Air Force Services product line.
• Gathers and develops essential information on business opportunities to position Harris IT Services for highest probability of win.
• Establishes relationships with industry partners enabling partnering opportunities and teaming strategies on business opportunities in both prime and sub roles.
• Must be able to formulate and execute winning pursuit strategies.
• Develops the Price-to-Win on business pursuits.
• Participates in proposal capture and proposal development activities in accordance with the Harris Business Acquisition Process (BAP).
• Initiates non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements.
• Travel will be required in this position at an average of 5 days per month.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• Successful candidates should have a Bachelors Degree. Masters degree (preferably MBA) a plus.
• At least 5 years experience in Department of Defense (preferably Air Force) business development.
• Proven track record of identifying and winning new business.
• This position requires a DOD Secret security clearance, TS clearance is a plus.
Preferred Additional Skills:
• Prior service in a related field as a civilian or member of the military is desirable.
• Strong communication skills; ability to brief executive and government clients.
This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Secret security clearance. In order to obtain a clearance you need to be a US Citizen and show proof of citizenship.
