CareAware/BMDI Designer

Permanent position! 

Our Client is expanding their staff!  A highly successful local Health Care Provider is seeking experienced CareAware Systems Analyst, (Formerly knows as Bedside Medical Device Interface or BMD). Healthcare IT experience is a MUST and and any experience with INet, (IView), considered a huge plus. 

Our client needs a motivated self-starter who is able to pick up clinical workflows very quickly. 

• You will be part of the team working with Cerner CareAware, (bedside medical device),  performing system analysis, design, implementation, testing, maintenance and support of the CareAware System.

  • You will  Initiate conversations with vendors, management, peers and clients for effective issue resolution.

    • Facilitate and direct the implementation, design, build, test and maintenance of systems to support clinical and/or financial processes.

      • Work with teams to improve processes, system performance and look for opportunities to automate processes and gain efficiencies.

        • Serve as an issue resolution resource. 

          • Provides training documentation and/or training as needed to transition to support, both internal and external to IT.

Job Requirements

CareAware/BMDI Experience/Skills Required

• Experience in Information Technology in Health Care
•  Highly proficient with and experienced in Cerner CareAware
•  Must be able to pick up clinical workflows very quickly
•  1-4 years in healthcare is required. 
•  Must have an Associates degree or higher
•   Fundamental knowledge of project management methods and able to manage small to medium projects autonomously is required.
• Able to resolve most system issues independently.
