Our Richmond office is looking for a Case Assistant to join our team of legal professionals. Our Case Assistants are key members of our legal team.

Responsibilities
- Manage cases and files, including file closures
- Compile, analyze and summarize data
- Review extensive technical literature in a timely manner to determine relevancies
- Maintain generic files
- Assist in trial preparation
- Maintain witness database
- Maintain exhibits
- Perform other duties, special projects and tasks as assigned

Skills and Computer Knowledge
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proven customer service skills (internal and external)
- Solid grammar skills
- Well-developed communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability and affinity for adapting with various personalities and work styles and the ability to successfully produce in that environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. (files and boxes)
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline and/or a paralegal certificate required (or in the process of obtaining your paralegal certificate)
- Experience in a professional office setting a plus, but not required
