Job Description
Dynamic Cellular Equipment Purchasing Engineer with PeopleSoft experience sought for 12 month contract in Texas
The successful candidate will be tasked with the following:
- Calculation and forecasting of wireless equipment costs for new and existing cell site builds
- Evaluation of products for cost saving purposes
- Maintaining vendor communication with Alcatel-Lucent, Nortel and Motorola
- Updating and ordering with PeopleSoft
- Other tasks as required
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will be able to prove the following:
- Experience of purchasing equipment for wireless cell site builds
- Experience of using PeopleSoft for ordering purposes
- Understanding of Nortel, Alcatel-Lucent and Motorola equipment
- A knowledge of the entire cell site construction process
- Track record of undertaking equipment ordering tasks
