Job Description
As a Certified Medication Aide you are responsible for maintaining the clinic’s medical records system while meeting, or exceeding Sunrise’s hospitality and service standards. Assist with general secretarial and clerical duties for the nursing department.
Orders necessary clinical supplies/equipment and pharmaceuticals
Maintains complete and accurate medical records in compliance with the rules and regulation of all regulatory agencies
Attends required meetings and participate in committees, as requested
Provides support filing, answering phones, chart preparation when necessary
Job Requirements
The Certified Medication Aide role requires:
A commitment to serving others
A high School diploma or equivalent
Clerical and computer skills including typing, data entry, filing, etc.
The ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, supervisor, Health Center employees
A desire to work with the elderly
