Job Description

 Certified Nursing Assistant / Medication Technician - CNA / CMT

 CNA provides:

    Routine daily nursing and selected environmental services for assigned residents
    in accordance with established nursing care policies and procedures taught in the current
    Missouri Nurse Assistant in a Long Term Care manual, under the supervision of 
    an RN/LPN. 

CMT:
    assists in administering of medications/treatments to residents as ordered by the
    attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician and RN/LPN.

Job Requirements

 
Candidates for CNA and CMT positions must:

• Be a minimum of 18 years of age

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be a graduate of an approved Nurse's Assistant Training Program
• Be able to lift in excess of fifty (50) pounds
• Have ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents and visitors 

Candidates for CNA must be a graduate of an approved Nurse's Assistant Training Program.  

Candidates for CMT must be a Certified Medication Technician as approved by the State.
