Job Description

The Classroom Facilitator is responsible for scheduling classrooms for Becker Professional Education and insures that each classroom has the necessary equipment and materials. Prepares classroom, installs and tests equipment on a regular basis to minimize problems. Assists with answering student questions during registration and prepares schedule reminders for instructors. Performs organizational, clerical, and ad-hoc duties as needed.

Maintains all instructional materials that include filing, organizing, and maintaining inventory to ensure adequate supplies for each class. Coordinates with Lead Classroom Facilitator/Regional Manager in identifying, hiring, and training student assistant. Installs and tests equipment to ensure smooth operation during classes and minimize technical issues. Attends selected classes to assist with student questions, registration issues, and verify student identity. Hands out student material/supplies as needed. Acts as a liaison with the regional office to ensure that all student issues are resolved in a timely manner. Collaborates with instructor team to solve any classroom related issues. Completes other projects and duties as assigned.

High school diploma required; some college preferred. At least 2 years general office experience required. Strong communication and organizational skills required. Ability to work with a diverse population of students and resolve problems diplomatically in a timely manner. General PC skills and audio/visual troubleshooting skills desired.
