Large NYC Hospital seeking a Registered Nurse - Performance Improvement Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Ensure core measure compliance.
- Work closely with physicians on surgical and OB areas.
- Provide coordination and support of quality improvement activities and strategies for the hospital.
- Projects include but are not limited to: core measure data abstraction, review and analysis; development and implementation of quality improvement strategies, incident report follow up and review, participation in Joint Commission and DPH reviews and more.
- Ensure performance improvement processes
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- RN – Registered Nurse in the State of NY
- Minimum of 3 years experience in performance improvement
- Experience in core measures
- Must be able to manage multiple projects and work effectively with departmental chairmen, residents and other staff in implementing improvement initiatives
