POSITION SUMMARY Delivers and/or facilitates training sessions to designated audiences; works with local leadership and national curricula design teams to ensure the successful transfer of learning from the classroom back to the job. Independently oversees the classroom environment for long-term and complex training situations, managing all aspects of student performance and feedback to management. Coaches, mentors and oversees other trainers both technical and behavioral competencies for trainer development purposes.
ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION Strong clinical/technical training knowledge of the function being trained. Excellent platform skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization. Basic understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design. Knowledge of all aspects of case management and discharge planning, including the use of application of assessment tools, Milliman Care Guidelines. Knowledge of home health, ambulatory care, disease management and utilization review. Knowledge of accreditory guidelines (NCQA, URAC), regulatory (DOL) and state mandated guidelines. Knowledge of quality of care and member safety issues. This position will be based in Philadelphia, PA after training and orientation to take place in the Blue Bell, PA offices.
