We are currently seeking a Cognos / BI Developer who is skilled in utilizing the Cognos 8 suite of tools to include: Cognos Series 8 Report Studio, Query Studio, Framework Manager, Analysis Studio, Event Studio, Metrics Manager.  The successful candidate will serve as a BI technical resource and support reporting activities throughout the development lifecycle and will report to the Manager of Business Intelligence.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements and Essential Functions:

1.                  BA / BS degree or equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience, with additional work experience substituting for the required education on a year for year basis.4-6 years experience as Cognos / Business Intelligence Developer.

2.                  Effective Development experience: with an emphasis on working with relational databases and Very strong SQL development experience

3.                  Hands on in BI / ETL development: Cognos 8 development, Design and develop Frame work model for ad-hoc query, drill-down, static reporting, managed queries, and dashboards

4.                  Full life-cycle development: Serve as a BI technical resource and support all reporting activities throughout the development lifecycle and Responsible for tuning and optimization of the reporting solution.

5.                  Microsoft SQL Server experience (Database creation, Analysis Services).
