What will you do?
In General:
As a Collector/Assistant Manager you will be responsible for assisting the Manager with every aspect of the day-to-day operations of the center.
Maintain an aggressive collection program in compliance with all applicable federal laws, state laws, and company policies to minimize bad debt and reduce delinquencies.
Train and supervise other employees in approved collections techniques.
For Customers:
Provide exceptional customer service
Help manage and execute marketing campaigns
For Operations:
You are responsible for the center operations when manager is absent
Ensure that all transactions are accurate and all policies are followed
Travel locally for marketing, collections, staffing, and banking responsibilities
For the Staff:
Recruiting top quality employees
Follow the creed and make sure your coworkers follow it also
Qualifications
What is Required?
Basic:
Must be 18 years of age
Must have Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check
Must pass Drug Screen Testing
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Work Experience:
Required Background:
1 or more years of Collections Experience in; Rent to Own, Finance Company, Auto Industry, Card Services, or related collection industry.
Cash handling
Working knowledge of computers.
Personality:
Excellent customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Management skills
Time management skills.
Self motivating
Ability to keep on task
Highly organized
Ability to take charge and manage various tasks simultaneously and effectively with little supervision.
Solid vision for results
