Job Description
Jacobson Solutions is currently seeking experienced Commercial Underwriting Assistants and Raters for a client. The candidate will handle commercial insurance policy servicing to include renewals, quotes, proposals, policy changes and scheduled rating/processing on more complex accounts such as national accounts and blanket coverages. In addition they will review renewal, new policy questionnaires and policy changes for completeness of information. Contact credit unions to obtain and/or clarify underwriting information on required renewal questionnaires and policy changes.
Input credit union data from the required renewal questionnaire and/or policy changes. Complete issuance of new, renewal policies and policy changes within the underwriting scope of authority.
Job Requirements
Applicants must possess the following skill set:
No less than two years of on-the-job experience as an Underwriting Assistant or Rater. Commercial lines experience is required. Experience with an automated adminstrative system is required. High school degree is required.
