Job Description
Position to assist legal counsel in providing legal support to the Company with an emphasis on loss mitigation issues including but not limited to loan modifications, short sales, and deeds-in-lieu. Position located in Coppell, Texas.
- Regularly monitors various sources for regulation updates
- Timely provides regulatory updates to attorneys for review and analysis
- Provides support to attorneys in the collection of data and preparation of reports
- Summarizes regulations and creates effective presentation of information
- Performs administrative and clerical duties to assist attorneys
Job Requirements
- Minimum Associate/2 year degree or HS diploma/GED and comparable relevant experience
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in mortgage and/legal field or as a legal assistant
- Mortgage and Loss Mitigation experience highly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills in areas of time management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications as well as Outlook
