New York City metro area defense contractor needs a mathematician or RF Engineer, with expertise in studying and analyzing scattering and antenna radiation using Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) techniques. Your responsibility will be to investigate advanced CEM algorithms and techniques, and develop software tools that can be used for analysis and design. The tools will need to work efficiently on high performance computing platforms, such as Cray/SGI.
Job Requirements
To qualify, you should have an MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar. PhD is preferred. Must have several years of post graduation experience (10-15) using computational electromagnetics for scattering and antenna radiation problems.
Your skills must include solving of integral equations, linear algebra. You should have experience using scientific computer languages such as Fortran 90/95, Java, C++, Perl, QT, Python, Unix scripting, and Unix operating system. You should also have worked with Cray/SGI supercomputer applications, optimization theory and techniques, CAD modeling, advanced materials for CEM applications.
Must be eligible for U.S. government security clearance. Top Secret security clearance with current SSBI highly desirable. You must be a US citizen.
