Job Responsibilities of Configuration Control & Deployment Manager:

Manage and oversee the entire Release / configuration management process for all development products

• Act as the ’Gate Keeper’ for releases
• Define and create a build and deployment process
• Possess full ownership from front to back (configuration through release)
• Define policies and procedures for how releases should be executed
• Define release plans
• Manage structured deployment of releases
• Understand why systems are failing and provide corrective actions

Job Requirements

Configuration Control & Deployment Manager

• 5+ years of related IT experience
• Knowledge and previous use of Version Control Tools such as ClearQuest / PVCS VM / Visual Source Safe / Serena Dimensions / SharePoint
• Background in Software configuration management / release control
• Experience in deployment managment
• Experience in Release Planning
• Expert Knowledge of the SDLC
• 5 years experience managing production support activities and teams.
• 3 years experience using configuration management tools
• Experience using AIM methodology is a plus
• Experience using the Oracle applications is a plus.
• Knowledge of Oracle Financials a plus
• General business knowledge of finance and accounting a plus

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability performing on high performance engineering teams.
• Ability to organize and set priorities in fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Disciplined and strong planning and organizational skills
•  Demonstrated understanding of technical concepts and terminology
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Must be US citizen and clearable.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience
• PMP certification a plus
