Job Description
- Provide daily oversight of the data migration by third party vendors from client’s existing Customer Service Center to a new Customer Service Center
- Work with the business analysts, and other technical staff to support design, development, and testing activities related to all data migration activities

Oversee the development and implementation of detailed project plans and procedures required to migrate data from the legacy Customer Service Center systems to the new Customer Service Center systems

Provide consultancy and oversight of data migration processes and standards to ensure data integrity, quality and a successful migration

Evaluate the data migration testing strategy and oversee execution

Participate in the development of all project documentation

Facilitate communications between vendors

Analyze problems encountered in the data migration process and provide solutions

Establish and maintain effective written and verbal communications with client staff and the vendor regarding the status of data migration. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
Requires significant time at the client's downtown Seattle project office and adoption of client work hours schedule; must be able to work independently and demonstrate critical thinking skills.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience

Minimum 4 years of experience as a technical or business manager on technology projects, with specific experience managing at least one data migration project

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are critical

Strong detail orientation and problem solving skills

Must have the ability to contribute in a team environment and work across multiple departments

Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and prioritize numerous simultaneous tasks

Demonstrated experience overseeing medium to large IT projects

Understanding of test strategies, test plans and test execution
