The Professional Services Consultant will deliver solutions and deliverables within pre-defined budgeted hours as mutually agreed between Customer and Verizon. The Consultant will have the technical skill set required for the delivery of a variety of project activities for medium to long-term engagements. The Consultant responsibilities may include: Hardware/Software implementation and configuration; Hardware/Software migration and consolidation; and Solution deployment.
Required Skills: Symantec NetBackup and VMware Consolidated Backup
Familiarity with one (or all) of the following: Networker (EMC), Data Domain, EDL (EMC Disk Library), iScaler i2000 (Tape backup library)
Nice to have: Avama, DDN Backup, Veritas NetBackup, EMC Storage product knowledge (Clariion or other), HP Storage product knowledge (HP EV class devices or similar)
A minimum of 2 years of related technical experience as well as at least 2 years of consulting experience within a professional services organization. Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Computer Science or a related field.
