Job Description
Responsibilities: - Development and execution of Work In Process (WIP) asset ownership levels and production execution schedules.
- Duties and Responsibilities: Plans and schedules plans, both tactical and strategic activities associated with the ownership of work in process inventory
- Develops and coordinates the execution of shift, daily and long range execution schedules for the repair, overhaul of aircraft parts and components.
- Coordinates all Supply Chain related activities including repair, distribution, work orders, COA execution schedules and asset rotation
- Establishes work in process ownership requirements as well as detail parts planning below the master assembly level. Establishes execution schedules with internal and external Production Business Units.
- Analyzes material flows to ensure optimal productivity of inventory. Develops master production volume plans.
- Monitors, analyzes and reports on performance against plan. Develops and implements short and long term solutions for variances from plan.
- Utilizes Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies and provides leadership support in team/individual training.
- Supports development and deployment of, and ensures decision support data and models are used in daily work.
Job Requirements
Education: - BS/BA degree in related field of expertise is required.
- Black Belt Lean/Six Sigma Required.
- MBA strongly recommended.
Requirements: - A minimum of 8 years experience required in field of Supply Chain or Financial planning.
- Prefer Supply Chain Emphasis. Advanced degree may be substituted for experience.
Minimum Skill Required: - Strong leadership and communication skills
- In depth knowledge of spreadsheet financial functions, statistical analysis and process control (SPC)
