Job Description

  • Performs a variety of duties to assist customers on banking floor and to promote and sell bank products and services.
  • Opens new accounts, i.e. checking, savings, certificate of deposit and IRA's.
  • Inputs new account and CIF information on platform terminal.
  • Sells bonds and traveler's checks.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and requests relating to existing accounts.
  • Discusses/sells consumer loan products to existing and prospective customers.
  • Responsible for achieving individual sales, referral and service quality goals.

  • Job Requirements

  • Excellent client service orientation, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Solid qualitative, quantitative, and problem solving skills.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Minimum of one year retail customer service experience required.
  • Banking experience preferred.
