Forney Corporation a United Technologies Corporation Fire & Security (UTCFS) business unit is a leading provider of combustion, combustion control and environmental equipment. Forney(`9s product line includes Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS), igniters, flame detectors, Burner Management Systems (BMS), burners and duct burners serving the utility power, industrial, petrochemical and pulp & paper markets
Successful candidate will independently ensure that customers receive the best service possible for spare parts or returned material authorizations for repair.
1. Acts as customer contact regarding standard pricing, scheduling and shipping. Refers complex, technical inquiries to more senior personnel.
2. Enters orders into the system received from customers
3. Coordinates expediting activities with other departments to assure accuracy in pricing, delivery, invoicing, etc.
4. Has discretion to quote pricing and freedom to issue credits if warranted.
5. Will own relationship with customer ensuring we are meeting their aftermarket needs.
6. Will propose and sell upgrades
Job Requirements
Undergraduate degree preferred
Ability to handle non-routine, standard projects and tasks independently
Ability to effectively interact with managers, supervisor, peers, customers and suppliers.
Ability to interpret policies and practices in routine situations.
Working knowledge of Forney products, systems, and processes.
Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and persuade at all levels of customers, management and employees.
