Regular/Temporary: Regular Essential Job Functions The Manager, Client Analytics position is responsible for providing direction and oversight to supervisors in the Client Analytics and Cost Analysis teams. Primary responsibilities include the coordination, management and prioritization of all client analytical requests. Analytical requests include identifying historical product utilization, off-¬contract spend, identifying functionally equivalent products, vendor market share analysis, and product standardization opportunities. This position works closely with Sales, Enterprise Accounts and Client Care personnel requesting analytical services to ensure clarity and completeness of information, and mutual understanding of customer deliverables. Manage all incoming analytical requests and maintain an optimal resource workload balance among analysts. Review outgoing deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness of data and conformity to client specific standards.
Develop working knowledge of all customer agreements, including resource funding, saving incentives and other revenue streams. Develop working knowledge of Broadlane Contract Management System for use in conducting savings, conversion and market share analysis. Develop, automate and maintain project queue to assist in the management and tracking of analytical requests. Participate in routine Client Care meetings to understand unique customer requirements, determine best source of data, and provide status on analytical activities in process. Responsible for personnel actions including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating of direct reports and department analysts. Assists in responding to customer inquiries; serves as department customer service representative and single point of contact. Collaborate and interface with diverse range of internal and external contacts including Directors, Sr. Directors, VP and SVP's in addition to client executives and materials management staff. Recommend and implement operational improvements and develop standard policies and procedures that promote efficiency. Assist in development of Client Business Review documents using standardized templates. Complete special projects as assigned by the VP of Client Analytics. Assist in obtaining customer PO and AP data in the desired format. Promote and educate Client Care staff on current reporting standards and 'self-serve' tools available to minimize the number of ad-hoc and special report requests. Provide excellent customer service to the client teams.
Job Requirements
and Education
Extensive work experience managing large group of analysts and multiple workflows under tight deadlines. Minimum of ten years of relevant work experience preferably in healthcare with at least four years experience in management of multiple teams. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written and be a team player. Highly organized and have strong attention to detail with ability to execute tactical plans. Strong leadership, employee empowerment, and motivational skills. Ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision and direction. Broad knowledge of medical, surgical, and pharmaceutical products and common suppliers in the industry. Four year college degree, preferably BS/BA in accounting/Finance.
