Job Description
Our Plano, TX client is seeking a customer support representative to handle customer relationships and communicate with customers in Europe and North America. Main duties include customer orders, logistics, and acting as a customer link to production of materials. This is a temp to possible hire opportunity with a growing company.
Scope:
The position will operate under supervision, but will be expected to use good judgment and provide top notch information to company customer base. Primary responsibilities will include order entry, order confirmation, shipment information, as well as some general logistics duties and administrative activities. The applicant is expected to have better than average MS Office skills, higher level analytical skills, as well as a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills. Experience with ERP systems is important; MAS 500 software experience is a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Enter customer orders accurately and immediately upon receipt

Answer customer email requests accurately, swiftly, and politely

Redirect shipments to customer sites as required

Working with Logistics Team to update delivery status

Answer ad-hoc requests from staff and customers as required

Act as a customer link to production

Makes a suggestions and recommendations to Supervisor/Manager in an effort to continually improve customer service operations

Compiles with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations

Performs related duties as assigned

Learn customer order habits and products and apply that knowledge to best support the financial requirements of the company and the needs of the customer

Responsible for a large portion of customer deliveries of company products

Responsible for entering and acknowledging customer orders, lead time requests, order status, logistics

Resolves customer requests requiring analysis of situations to determine best use of resources

Serves as liaison between the customer and various departments. up new accounts, maintains records, prepares reports and performs work processing and related duties

Knowledgeable of customer service inclusive of manufacturing environment, ground transportation, and other information that provides valuable service to our customers
Requirements:

Experience with ERP Systems; MAS 500 software experience a plus

Must have excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite

Comprehensive customer service experience focused on treating customers right while making good financial decisions for the company

Proactive customer service approach- ability to contact customers versus waiting for phone calls to come in with a problem

Ability to win support of others and communicate a winning approach to problem solving

Job Requirements
