Job Description
Our client, a globally recognized manufacture and distributor of branded consumer prodcuts is eager to engage the services of a demand planning/forecasting manager for its northern New Jersey headquarters. The selected candidate will manage the S&OP process for a large number of stock keeping units. They will be responsible for the implementation of sophisticated systems to manage demand.
The successful candidate must have extensive experience in mass merchant channels [i.e. Wal*Mart, Big Box, as well as grocery and drug store channels] This person will work with all major corporate stakeholders including marketing, financing, and manufacturing
Job Requirements
--BS Degree in any discipline --- Mathematics, Operations Research, Business, or engineering
-- 7+ years of experience in CPG products within the mass merchant , department store channels
--Knowledge of forecasting / demand planning methodologies and tools
-- 5 + years experience in Demand Planning / forecasting
-- Ability to lead the S&OP Process.
-- Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferably with recognized brand leader CPG companies
-- Understanding of the Supply Chain from customer service through payment
