Job Description
The Interactive Media Supervisor position is responsible for strategic and tactical development of online media planning and buying with the integration of all Initiative’s services. This position supports the business through creative and innovative solutions to clients. - Operate as a senior client contact, leading strategic and tactical online planning activities.
- Provide stimulus for innovative solutions to business and media issues.
- Act as client advocate internally and Initiative’s advocate to clients.
- Set realistic client expectations and make every effort to exceed them, providing quality work in a timely manner.
- Manage a staff of media professionals. Develop the staff through performance management and giving consistent feedback. Identify with staff, developmental opportunities and help them to work toward their professional goals.
- Promote an open working environment where opinions, views and ideas can be shared.
- Actively participate in new business planning and related presentations.
- Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and vendors
- 4 - 7 years experience in account management with a concentration in Media, other areas could include marketing or advertising
- 2+ years experience managing or developing a staff
- Demonstrated ability to develop integrated marketing communication plans encompassing traditional and non-traditional media strategies
- Ability to drive projects from conception to completion; project management experience
- Proven knowledge of online planning and research tools and resources
- Experience with campaign management/ad serving technology: Double Click DART, Atlas DMT
- Preferred working knowledge of third party Internet marketing research: comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen NetView, @Plan, NetRatings, and others
- Experience/involvement in new business planning and presentations preferred
