Job Description
The National Sales Director is responsible for providing direction and leadership to the National Sales and National Account Executives by developing, expanding and executing the sales strategy for Manpower to achieve profitable growth targets and market share goals. Responsible for successfully developing and managing a strong and cost effective sales team that is responsible for building national sales, through sales strategies and training programs focused on the national segment. Instill accountability in the sales organization in order to achieve sales objectives and goals. Execute business and market development tasks necessary for sales goal attainment. Will achieve operational excellence by providing both strategic and tactical support to the sales organization through the alignment of functional and sales resources, process improvement and standardization, customer satisfaction measurement and sales force automation. Will partner with the Field leadership/operations team on delivery and sales of national accounts. The National Sales Director will: - Increase sales productivity & revenue
- Build profitable revenue from National Account portfolio
- Strategically increase market penetration
- Develop business development focused sales team
- Execution of sales strategy
- Sales force accountability & goals
- Drive sales revenue in national accounts
Key leadership strategies including : - Demonstrating leadership of professional and managerial employees including but not limited to staffing, training and overseeing workflow. Manages functional area in meeting specified goals and objectives of department. Acts as role model to others. Leads by example in demonstrating Manpower Values, makes hard decisions and follows them through with integrity and honest communication. Innovative, takes initiative, rises to challenges, assesses risk and is prepared to take and encourage other to do so to drive performance and achieve objectives. Seen as key directorial contributor to functional areas and high potential source for succession planning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field or combination of education and/or experience.
- Minimum of 10+ years of directly related successful sales experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in strategic sales management and planning.
