Director, Business Development - SAP
Location: Morristown, NJ + Road warrior â€" at least 50% travel required
Basic Purpose
Build SAP post implementation support services business in North America through direct sales, mostly focused on New Accounts in SMB space, generating $2-3M+ annual revenue stream.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Sales of SAP global delivery solutions and services to both current customers and new accounts.
- Develop strategic sales plans, conduct sales calls and customer visits, building strong relationships with potential and existing clients at business executive, CIO, VP and Director Levels, and working aggressively to achieve sales quotas.
- Primary focus on New Accounts in North American SAP SMB market
- Maintain a quality pipeline of services opportunities that represent 4 - 5 times annual quota.
- Understand, position, and sell across the SAP Enterprise SW Services offering portfolio, including solutions for BI/DW, Application Management Services (AMS), and Application Development, Maintenance and Integration services
- Ensure successful sales efforts by leading aggressive opportunity pursuit, including lead generation & qualification, solution development, project approach, proposal presentation, contract negotiations and closing.
- Ensure engagements are properly coordinated with Delivery Organization for timely staffing and execution
- Maintain contact with established accounts as potential sources of additional business and as reference accounts.
Marketing
- Develop tailored marketing programs to increase awareness of Collabera with prospects and clients
- Prepare proposals
- Participate in a lead role in sales presentations
- Conduct client meetings to build and maintain relationships
Sales Process & Training
- SalesForce.com use and timely maintenance
- Submit weekly and other related sales reports
- Become thoroughly familiar with Collabera sales processes including System Usage,
- Performance management & KRA’s, as well as sales related documents & templates, Workflows, and HR policies.
Education and Work Experience
- At least 3 - 5+ years of experience in direct field sales of SAP Consulting, Development, Implementation and System Integration Services
- Should have an in depth knowledge of selling strategies, development of proposals, contracts, close plans, and statements of work for professional services
- BA in business administration, computer science, or equivalent business or technical field is preferred
- Ability to develop executive level relationships. Strong presentation, written and verbal communication and negotiation skills required.
- Willing to travel >50%
