Job Description

The ES Director is responsible for the management of the overall performance of their team along with being the floor manager and trainer. The goal of the ESD is to instill a sense of team responsibility, team leadership and ultimately improve the student start rate through quality customer service, team performance and follow up. An integral part of the ESD position is to raise enrollment numbers by actively training towards higher conversion rates.

Typical activities for an ESD include:

• Achieve team performance standards and lead the team in the accomplishment of overachieving assigned goals.
• Manage ES reps and their day-to-day activities utilizing call center metrics to improve team performance.

• Use his/her expertise to train team members and ultimately increase the teams overall conversion, start rates, and over achieve enrollment goals.
• Provide ongoing training for all team members (help) classes
• Measure and Monitor calls daily
• Motivate and support team members
• Keep team tracking boards up-to-date and accurate
• Know, maintain, adhere and comply with all appropriate corporate policies, state and federal regulations and follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of programs offered and take responsibility for keeping current with program changes and new programs offered
• Facilitate inter-departmental communications to help create a positive, team-oriented atmosphere
• Perform various other duties as assigned by Management

Job Requirements

·         Minimum of 3 year experience as an inside sales manager in the education industry.

·         Experience working in a ‘start up’ environment preferred

·         Experience in sales training required

·         College degree and/or equivalent work experience

·         Positive support regarding managerial decisions

·         Positive attitude and willingness to help others

·         Successful managerial experience of at least 5 years

·         Capable of accomplishing multiple tasks within specific periods of time
